This site was created to showcase the skills I learned while completing courses for Austin Community College’s Business and Technical Communications Program. It is my hope that in viewing this site, visitors will gain an understanding of how each course I completed served to create the foundation for what will hopefully be a successful career in technical writing and editing.

About Me

A lifelong passion for constructing, deconstructing, and reconstructing language led me to pursue an English degree from the University of New Orleans. While doing so, I interned with two wonderful publications and volunteered with a third. As I worked at my degree, I was confident that I would graduate and become a sought after writer. However, after receiving my degree in 2001, I decided to avoid life as a “starving artist” and dive into any profession that would send a paycheck my way. It wasn’t until I received ACC’s Continuing Education booklet in the mail in early 2008 that I decided to revitalize my passion for language. Six extraordinary courses later and I’m ready for the world of technical writing!
